Rainy Wedding at Carter Valley Ranch

This wedding day is one I will never EVER forget! When I arrived at Carter Valley Ranch and entered the bridal suite, spirits were high but my beautiful bride Gianna expressed how nervous she was about the weather. I assured her all would be just fine and luckily Carter Valley Ranch has a stunning indoor space large enough to hold a couple hundred people. A last minute decision was made to hold the ceremony outdoors as the sky had suddenly cleared. Just as our bride began to walk down the aisle to none other than the Beatles “Here Comes The Sun” it began to rain. Instead of being upset Gianna and Christian embraced the downpour and promised forever in front of their drench wedding guests. The rain stopped just in time for the couple to seal their union with a kiss.

Not a single guest was phased as we all piled into the barn to dry off, warmup and dance the night away. I cannot tell you how much I love this wedding venue. The owners of Carter Valley Ranch are the loveliest people and their love and care for this wedding venue truly shows. It’s a must see if you’re looking for a cozy and welcoming place to say “I do” and even comes with a stunning view of the Sierra Mountains.
